Delete inside the app
- Open Pilupu on your iPhone.
- Go to Profile, then Delete account.
- Read what will be removed, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete my account.
Your account is deleted straight away. Events that guests already received will stop working.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in details, including your name and email.
- Your events and invitations.
- Your guest lists, guest phone numbers and replies.
- Your message history and delivery status.
- Your device token for notifications.
We also revoke Pilupu's access to your Apple ID, so you will see the app disappear from your Sign in with Apple settings.
What may remain
Encrypted backups can keep a copy for a short time until they are overwritten. We may also keep limited records where the law requires it, such as to resolve a dispute or prevent abuse. We do not use them for anything else.
Delete one event only
To keep your account but remove an event, open the event, tap Manage invite, and choose Cancel this event. You can then delete its guest data.
If you cannot open the app
Email hello@pilupu.app with the subject Delete my account, from the email address linked to your account (or tell us the name on your Apple ID). We may ask you to confirm it is you, and we will reply once the deletion is done.
If you are a guest
Guests do not need an account. To remove your phone number and replies from an event, or to stop messages, email hello@pilupu.app with the name of the host or event. Guests can also reply STOP to any message.
